Hannah

Hannah holds a bachelor’s degree in Nursing and Psychology from the University of Ghana, a Post Graduate Diploma in Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental Management, and a Master of Science in Public Health from the Royal Tropical Institute -The Netherlands. Her Master’s thesis looked at “Optimizing performance of healthcare workers at the primary care level. Hannah has over nine years of experience in the healthcare industry with experience in health education, cardiothoracic intensive care nursing, and public health services. She currently works as an Occupational Health and Safety practitioner and coordinates the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital.

 

 

Her interest is to promote the health and safety of workers with high target interventions to improve wellbeing, productivity, and job performance. She is a “Vision Zero” trainer with the International Labour Organization/International Social Security Association. With multidisciplinary training at the master’s level in areas such as Human Resources for health, Health systems management, and policy, Health Financing, Health and Safety, Emergency Preparedness and Management, she collaborates with several institutions and organizations through consultation and training in maintaining OHS.
